    #oklaed A1: I am thankful that my son, daughter in-law, and grandkids are stationed at Ft. Sill, that the west side of the high school is almost finished, so we'll be moving back soon, and that I didn't move to Texas.

    A7) We gave returning bonuses to Ts and signing bonuses for critical shortage areas. Food is always good. An extra "jeans" day is also always appreciated. I try to tell my Ts regularly how much I appreciate them...use my words. :) #oklaed

    A7: Teacher appreciation dinners during Parent Teacher Conferences seemed to have lots of volunteers bringing food. Also, learned one district doubled the Teacher / Teaming / Planning time using flexible scheduling. Teachers feel valued when equipped with time to prepare. #oklaed

    It is so important to remind your students how much you care! During one of my field observations, I saw a teacher give out handwritten thank you cards to her students after thanksgiving, to let them know how thankful she was for each one of them. I loved this idea! ☺️ #oklaed

      A7) we continue to find ways to be supportive - we got community partners for over 200 classrooms for $300+ in supplies, we did $250 in room money for each teacher for supplies. We always need to find ways to do more. A daycare is next on my list. #oklaed

    A9 this thanksgiving marks my favorite memory . All of my children were home happy and healthy. All of my best friends made it to see me. All of my dishes came out well. I spent a large amount of time making sock puppet videos, chatter pix videos, and using green screen. #oklaed
