This site is literally everything I have ever wanted and nothing I don’t want. I can’t thank everyone enough for building such an incredible site that allows a more equitable opportunity for organizations to lead community innovation.

Learn more →We've designed these plans to meet the needs of various organizational sizes, initiatives, learning goals and budgets. We recommend thinking through your organization's learning goals and resources, then imagining how they align with the features and support in each plan. If you have a lot of courses and conversations you're looking to shift from a Learning Management System (LMS) to a community structure, we recommend the Community Growth Plan. If you're just starting out with structured learning experiences and want to explore only a couple of courses at a time, we recommend the Community Learning Plan. If you're simply looking for a safe space to connect community members and inspire meaningful conversations and resource sharing, we recommend the Community Plan.
We're here to guide you through this process and find the plan that best serves your needs. Contact our sales team to brainstorm or dive deeper into Communities of Practice.
The unique services added to your community plan are completely dependent on where you're at in your community learning journey. These services are designed to empower you and your organization so that you're equipped with the tools you need to facilitate and engage your community. Some partners come to us with no prior instructional design experience, so we lead virtual learning workshops to aid their community learning design. Others come to us seeking advice on community facilitation and marketing, so we create tailored engagement strategies based on their community members. Some partners are ready to go and don't need any additional support at all.
We recommend starting with the community plan you are interested in, then thinking through what you might need in addition to the support already provided. We're happy to strategize which services are best for your organization. Contact us for a personalized quote.
Most traditional Learning Management System (LMS) pricing falls into one of three categories:
In addition to these monthly costs, LMS providers often charge a one-time installation or setup fee. A common fee for a cloud-based LMS is $4,000-$7,000, while some LMS cost estimates are up to $25,000 depending on the size or the organization or contract.
Participate's Community of Practice pricing focuses on the features and support you receive, not limiting the number of users in your community or forcing you to pay as your community grows. We offer unlimited community members and tier our plans according to the number of courses you can create in your community, admins within your community and support hours. We build any setup costs into our packages so that what you see covers any upfront costs.
At Participate, we believe in an iterative process of growth. We wish for your community to grow as your members grow, both professionally and in number. In the spirit of learning and growth, if you realize the plan you chose doesn't best suit your needs, we're happy to talk through finding the right solution for you. We offer flexible monthly pricing, where you can choose the level you need, month to month.
We've created a partnership cycle based on envisioning, building and nurturing your CoP. We'll provide resources and online support in which we'll guide you through a process of planning, designing, launching and engaging. Dependent upon the size of your community and number of online learning experiences, launching can take anywhere from two days to two months. Learn more about our approach.
We do offer grants on a quarterly basis, offering a select number of Community Learning plans. To apply for a grant or learn more about the grant program, contact sales.
If you don't have the funds for a community right now, still reach out to us. We're happy to talk through pilot programs or quarterly trials if an annual contract isn't the best fit right now.
