Why we love this app
This app was created with the input of both educators and students, and the accuracy of the activities and fun rewards are evidence of that. The app has numbers, lower and upper case letters, and words as options for writing activities. The variety of options makes this fun. Children can also learn to write their name!
What it teaches and how it works
In this app, letter formation is modeled, after which students are to trace the example and form the letter. Repetition of letter formation helps reinforce the learning. After students have completed certain activities, they earn rewards. This app supports multiple users, and it keeps track of their progress. The app also supports multiple writing methods, and difficulty can be slightly adjusted in the settings. Also, a unique feature is that you can set the app for either left–handed or right–handed students.
Why your kid won't be able to put it down
Kids will enjoy practicing their letter formations and collecting rewards. Young children who are learning to write their name will find that activity very engaging. The activity of writing words and having animated objects appear is also fun for young children.
